An established IFA with a strong regional presence require a Supervising Social Worker to join their West Wales based office in Cardiff, supporting carers across SE Wales.

They have been supporting carers and the young people in their care for over 20 years and have an excellent reputation.

This IFA has a stable care base across the region and are a small, friendly and supportive team.

Brief over view of role and responsibilities:

• Support and supervision of a carer group
• Delivery of carer training
• Annual reviews
• Attending LAC reviews
• Carer recruitment and assessment

You will be / have:

• A qualified social worker
• Relevant professional registrations
• Good experience across children and families social work
• Excellent knowledge of all relevant regulations and legislation
• A good understanding of the fostering sector
• A car owner / driver
