A highly ethical, child centred and not for profit fostering agency are looking for a Senior / Supervising Social Worker to support a small but stable carer group across the North West and Cumbria regions; with an office in north Lancashire, you will be commutable from this region

Brief over view of responsibilities:

• Supporting a small carers caseload across the Lancashire regions – carers are capped at 10, with carers based within an hour of Lancaster
• Supervision of carers
• Carer reviews
• Carer training
• Participation in the OOH telephone rota

You will be:

• A qualified social worker
• SWE registered
• Post qualifying experience of working within children’s services / fieldwork
• Experience of working within fostering social work / an IFA (ideal not essential)
• A car owner / driver
• Be prepared to travel across the region

The role attracts a salary to:

• Supervising Social Worker: to £36,27736,277
• Senior Supervising Social Worker: to £44,435
