A genuinely child focused and therapeutic not for profit fostering agency are looking to recruit a Senior Fostering Recruitment Social Worker to join their team in across the East Midlands, supporting carer recruitment across the region.
Their child centred approach to delivering a fostering service has helped them to maintain the core values of a family run not-for-profit making fostering service. Their vision and passion is to provide children and young people in foster care with safety, stability and hope; the relentless pursuit of this vision and passion through their committed foster carers and their families and hardworking staff helps them remain a child/young person centred fostering service with a family feel.
The primary focus of the role will be the recruitment of fostering families across all hubs and a supportive role in respect of placements. The role encompasses supporting growth and service development, through effective recruitment and retention of foster families (recruitment and panel), and placements growth including funding reviews and staff development.
The successful applicant will have experience as a social work practitioner within the fostering/children and families sector, with experience in foster family assessments, fostering panel procedures and preparation to foster. In addition, it would be desirable that the successful applicant has experience of line management and other supervisory tasks, especially supervision of assessments
You will be / have:
- A qualified social worker
- SWE registered
- Prior experience of working in Children’s Services
- Prior experience of working across fostering social work – essential
- A car owner / driver
- Be prepared to travel across the East Midlands regions.
