A well established and highly successful Residential Family Centre providing expert, evidence-based parenting assessments to Local Authorities are looking for a Registered Manager.

They are currently looking for a Registered Manager for their east Kent based service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Social Work England registered Senior Social Worker / Manager with strong children’s services / fostering / assessment combined with staff management / supervisory experience to take on an exciting role and provide professional leadership to the service.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children and families and / or fostering as a Senior Practitioner / Team Manager level and have a positive and dynamic attitude.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

• Undertake the role of the Ofsted Registered Manager and ensure compliance with regulations and good practice guidelines;
• Be willing to develop a comprehensive understanding of The National Minimum Standards and Regulations for Residential Family Centres;
• Provide leadership and ensure that adequate supervision of team members is always provided;
• Oversee all aspects of service delivery in relation to the assessment of each family placed within the home.
• Support staff to ensure a quality service that promotes positive outcomes for children and their families.

You will be:

• A qualified social worker
• SWE registered
• Have previous experience of working within children’s services and ideally direct experience of working across the assessment and court process
• Staff supervisory / management experience

Salary is to £69,000 + benefits
