Registered Manager – home based

To £70,000 + benefits

An established, Ofted “Good” and family-owned IFA require a Fostering / Registered Manager to join their service and staff team, providing support to carers across the South West regions – Bristol / Somerset and Devon.


This is a home-based role, with travel required to the South West offices once / month (initially twice a month, whilst getting established) hence there is flexibility in location for the right applicant – ideally living within 2-3 hours of the SW region to allow for comfortable commutability.


This role is suitable for an existing Registered Manager or for a strong and ambitious Fostering Team Manager with staff supervisory experience, who wishes to take that next ‘step up’ in their career.


You will be / have:


  • A qualified social worker
  • SWE registered
  • Strong experience within the fostering sector
  • Strong staff supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge of fostering legislation, policies and procedures
  • Creativity, drive and ambition around growing and nurturing a fostering service
  • A car owner / driver and be prepared to travel across the SW region as required.

Salary is to £70,000, experience dependent + mileage. Travel costs and over night stays will be re imbursed for travel to the regional offices.
