Registered Manager – Fostering

To £60,000 + Benefits

A small, growing and family owned IFA require a Registered Manager to join and lead their Birmingham based staff team, providing support to carers across the West Midlands

 

The responsibilities of the role will be to provide support, guidance and supervision to a small team including a supervising social worker, admin support and independent Form F Assessors, whilst growing and developing the business to improve services to placing authorities and to meet the needs of current and future children and young people, and their families

You will be / have:

 

  • A qualified social worker
  • SWE registered
  • Strong ‘hands on’ experience within the fostering sector
  • Excellent knowledge of fostering legislation, policies and procedures
  • Exceptional staff management / supervisory experience
  • An excellent understanding of Ofsted requirements within the fostering sector
  • A car owner / driver
  • Be prepared to travel

The role will suit a motivated Registered Manager looking for a change and who enjoys an autonomous and ‘hands on’ approach to staff and service support, delivery and growth, or a strong Fostering Team Manager / Senior Practitioner with IFA experience and staff supervisory experience who is looking to develop their career within fostering

 

Salary is to £60,000 + 28 days leave (+BH) + mileage
