Registered Manager – flexible home based role

To £60,000 + benefits

A small, growing and child focused stable IFA require a Registered Manager to join and lead their staff team, providing support to carers across the Essex / London and the East of England.

 

Carers are located across Northampton / Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire / Essex and north / East London regions. Social Work case loads are capped at 10.

This role offers home-based working, hence offers flexibility in terms of location etc

The responsibilities of the role will be to provide support, guidance and supervision to a small team including two supervising social workers, placement officer and admin staff.

 

You will be part of a growing and developing IFA and will look to improve services to placing authorities and to meet the needs of current and future children and young people, and their families

 

You will be / have:

 

  • A qualified social worker
  • SWE registered
  • Strong ‘hands on’ experience within the fostering sector
  • Excellent knowledge of fostering legislation, policies and procedures
  • Exceptional staff management / supervisory experience
  • An excellent understanding of Ofsted requirements within the fostering sector
  • A car owner / driver
  • Be prepared to travel
