An established and highly ethical Charity IFA require a Quality Assurance Director to oversee and further enhance and develop their QA functions across their service and offices in Yorkshire and the North East.
As the Quality Assurance Director, you will lead and manage the quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance functions within the IFA
You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the agency’s objectives. Accountable for driving the company’s quality initiatives, you will be supporting policy development, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and National Minimum Standards, and overseeing training and safeguarding activities.
Additionally, you will act as the Designated Complaints Officer and the second Agency Decision Maker (ADM).
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for a Training Manager,
Independent Review Officers, Recruitment (Quality Assurance) Manager
You will be / have:
- A Social Work qualification and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or equivalent).
- SWE registered
- Significant management experience in fostering services for looked-after children
- Experience working within an IFA(ideal)
- In-depth knowledge of childcare and fostering legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Proven experience in quality management systems, compliance, and complaints management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities and proficiency in IT (Microsoft Office & data systems).
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
Salary is £75,000, experience dependent + excellent benefits, including:
