A child focused and highly ethical IFA are looking for a Team Manager to further lead and develop their highly ethical and child focused fostering service in the North East / North Yorkshire regions

This IFA is looking for a highly credible, outstanding and committed Team Manager to join them in managing the provision and development of their fostering service in – successfully delivering new opportunities to enhance their service which already has a strong reputation in the market

Travel to the office is required 1 day / week

Over view of role and responsibilities:

• To play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in service delivery and development
• Managing a team of experienced social work practitioners and support workers
• Allocating and monitoring work by sessional support workers.
• Ensuring that legislative, regulatory, national minimum standards and company requirements are met
• To work closely with other colleagues and fulfil specific responsibilities in relation to foster carer recruitment and assessment, referrals and placements
• To maintain foster carer learning and development
• To contribute to the strategic development and successful expansion of the agency, through building links with Local Authorities

You will be / have:

• A social work qualification
• SWE registration
• Significant post qualified social work experience within the fostering sector
• Staff supervisory/management experience
• Good understanding and knowledge of fostering standards and regulations
• Full current driving license
