Fostering QA Manager

To £55,000 + car allowance

A therapeutic IFA require a Quality Improvement Manager to join their team to focus on areas of service improvement, including safeguarding, auditing, review of policies and procedures and leaning and development.

 

This is a home-based role with some travel, primarily to their Midlands based office for relevant team meetings etc

 

Overview of role and responsibilities:

 

  • Play a pivotal and active role in external inspections, working in partnership with Registrations, meeting with Ofsted inspectors and designing and delivering action plans.
  • Ensure that Registrations are compliant with all relevant regulatory processes activities
  • Provide training, support and implement solutions whereby short falls from such inspections may be noted.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all quality and safeguarding practices, and be the ‘go to’ regarding all aspects of legislation, regulation and minimum standards.
  • Play a key role in the production and submission of Regulation 35 reports and the Statement of Purpose.
  • Work in partnership with Registrations regarding the preparation, submission and delivery of any reports required as part of any auditing, internally and externally.
  • Update and monitor trends and outstanding areas associated with specific Key Performance Indicators linked to any areas of concerns.
  • Write, review and audit policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and regulation.
  • To work with Senior Leaders and Managers regarding notifications and monitor ensure best practice and no drift.
  • Deliver and communicate findings from case tracking/dip sample approaches to identify good practice; practice improvement requirements and near misses associated with individual practitioners work and in doing so further contribute to the Quality Improvement plans.
  • Undertake specific audits associated with the quality of the provision and ensure staff are equipped with the quality skillset and tools.
  • To contribute to the engagement and retention of staff and foster families through open, engaging collaborative workshops and meetings.
  • Design and deliver training packages and workshops for staff and Foster Families across the company relating to the operational fostering task, embedding its linkage with the Service Improvement Framework.

 

This role will suit a SWE registered Fostering QA Manager – or a current Fostering Registered Manager / experienced Fostering Team Manager who is looking to diversify and specialise in areas of service improvement.

 

You will ideally have experience of working with CHARMS and be prepared to travel across the regions.

 

Salary is to £55,000 + car allowance and additional benefits
