A ‘not for profit’ IFA is looking for a Deputy Foster Carer Recruitment Manager. This role focuses on the carer recruitment and assessment process.
It is a full-time role (flexible / compressed hours would be considered) and is fully home based, however recruitment activity will be based around the Midlands regions, hence a preference for being easily commutable form these areas would be preferred. Regions to be covered are Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Kettering, Wellingborough and Northampton

Brief overview of responsibilities:
- Overseeing the assessment process providing supervision and support to Independent Assessors and internal assessing Social Worker.
- Managing and providing quality assurance for all Form F assessments through to approval.
- Working closely with Area Teams to identify training opportunities for applicants in assessment
- Attend and provide up to date information to area team meetings.
- Providing an ongoing customer focused relationship with applicants
You will be / have:
- A qualified social worker
- SWE registered
- Strong experience across the fostering social work sector
- Knowledge and skills around foster carer recruitment and the assessment process
- Enjoy the QA side of Form F assessments
- Experience of delivering foster carer training
- Excellent knowledge of the relevant fostering regulations and policies
- Be willing to work towards a management qualification
Salary is to £43,300 + £750 home working allowance.
(Please note that the salary scale will rise to £48,100 after 18 months in post)
